About Us
Our Roots
With nearly six decades of walking with Christ, our spiritual journey has been shaped by a rich and diverse heritage. We began in a Baptist church, later serving within a Pentecostal congregation, where we taught Sunday school and ministered to the spiritual needs of others.
In the 1990s, our path took a new turn. As members of spiritually harmful movements—often labeled as cults—began seeking help within our community, we were called upon for guidance. This marked the beginning of many years spent quietly offering care and support to those leaving controlling or damaging religious environments.
Through this experience, we came to recognize a broader and more pervasive need: a growing number of sincere believers from traditional churches also found themselves displaced—no longer connected to the congregations that once nurtured them, yet still yearning to live out their faith authentically.
In response to this calling,
we stepped into pastoral ministry with a new vision:
â–¸ to cultivate a supportive framework for house churches—
â–¸ places of refuge
â–¸ places of worship
â–¸ places of renewal
…all beyond the boundaries of institutional walls.
Our Posture of Unity and Support in the Body of Christ
We are the Christian House Church Mission of Washington—a non-denominational, liberal evangelical platform guided by a distinct theological foundation we call Topological Theology. This approach draws on the concepts of continuity, connection, and transformation—celebrating the Church as an adaptable and organic body that transcends historical forms while remaining rooted in Christ.
While we operate independently and are not affiliated with any denomination, we do not seek to isolate ourselves. Rather, we embrace the diversity of Christ’s body across traditions and expressions. We walk alongside fellow believers of various backgrounds, honoring the many ways God speaks through different communities of faith.
Our mission is to support the establishment and growth of house churches without requiring adherence to our particular model. We uphold the freedom of every believer to follow Jesus in accordance with the Spirit's leading and their personal convictions. Just as in topology, where differing forms remain part of the same continuous structure, so too do we believe that all who abide in Christ belong to one spiritual body—expressed through diverse and ever-evolving forms.
This is why we present our platform not as a doctrinal gatekeeper, but as a bridge of encouragement and peace—so that the love of Christ may flourish in homes and hearts around the world.
Our Ministry Model
Our church operates as an online-based platform and resource center, dedicated to helping individuals and families establish independent, self-sustaining house churches. We do not maintain a physical place of worship; instead, we focus on equipping others to create their own sacred spaces—a "DIY" or "Build Your Own House Church" model for the digital and mobile age.
Our administrative functions are carried out through a private office that is not open to the public. However, we welcome all inquiries via email, phone, or social media as our communication channels expand.
In our work, we remain committed to innovating new ways of teaching the Gospel, making biblical truths accessible and relevant to people from diverse backgrounds. We also seek to nurture new spiritual leaders rising from within these emerging communities.
A Response to Displacement
In a time when church doors close unexpectedly, or internal divisions leave communities fractured, many believers find themselves spiritually adrift. The pain of separation from a once-beloved church can lead to isolation, discouragement, or even a crisis of faith.
We recognize this experience. We hear the ache of those who wonder whether they still belong. And it is precisely for them—for you—that this platform was created.
Our programs and resources aim to offer a refuge: a place of healing, reconnection, and worship. In this setting, faith is not limited by physical structures or denominational allegiance—it thrives in the home, where prayer is personal, community is authentic, and Christ remains the center.
Each house church formed through our support is designed to be independent, self-led, and sustainable. While we do not conduct centralized worship services at this time, we plan to offer online gatherings in the future as our capacity grows.
Our Support in Times of Spiritual Crisis
We walk with those navigating difficult spiritual transitions. Whether you’re grieving the closure of your church, wrestling with theological disillusionment, or simply seeking a path forward, we are here to guide you with biblical encouragement and practical tools for healing and growth.
More than just information, we offer connection—a living, active network of believers who understand the experience of spiritual displacement and are ready to walk alongside you in faith.
A Movement Toward Authentic Faith
At the heart of our mission is the unchanging love of Jesus Christ. He does not call His followers to despair, but to hope, even in hardship. The early church flourished in homes—in simplicity, in prayer, and in community. In the same spirit, we encourage those who have lost their churches to reimagine worship in intimate, Spirit-filled gatherings, rooted in truth and led by grace.
This platform is not merely a response to crisis. It is a movement toward a deeper, freer, and more personal expression of faith—a reclaiming of the Church as a living body, not confined to walls, but flourishing wherever two or three gather in His name.
We believe that no believer should feel abandoned, and no follower of Christ should walk alone. Wherever you are on your journey, we are here to walk with you—equipped with hope, guided by the Word, and united in the love of our Savior.
