Our Mission

Our Mission & Vision
When we set out to create an online platform to support the house church movement, one of the earliest conversations we had with fellow pastors was about denominational identity.
The Christian House Church Mission of Washington (CHCMW) is a non-denominational Evangelical Protestant church and a public-benefit religious corporation whose mission is to promote the global, cross-denominational spread of house churches.
Our starting point, therefore, was not to choose a denominational “label.”
Rather, it was to create a system that enables anyone who believes in Jesus—no matter where in the world they live—to walk with Christ in a way that is truly their own, especially those who, for personal, emotional, or spiritual reasons, are quietly seeking a gentler, more intimate life of faith.
We also longed to create a place where those who do not yet believe might find the courage to explore faith—free from pressure, barriers, or fear.
What we have prepared for such people is a house church that anyone can access, focused solely on the essence of Jesus’ teaching.
(See this link for more details.)
Rooted in Truth, Not in Labels
To fulfill our mission, we have chosen a path unbound by denominational constraints.
Accordingly, we welcome and embrace all who believe the Bible to be the true Word of God and hold to salvation through Jesus Christ as their foundation.
At the heart of our faith is a belief that transcends denominational boundaries—whether alone, with family, from one’s own home, or even in temporary lodging.
Through many years of seeking our evangelistic direction, we discovered within the world of mathematics a universal “formula” that offers hope for the future of house church ministry: Topology.
One principle of topology teaches that, even when shapes or sizes differ greatly, if they remain continuously connected, they are considered part of the same structure.
We see this not merely as a metaphor, but as a profound spiritual truth: even when outward appearances differ, all who truly believe in Jesus and receive the truth of Scripture are joined to God as one unbroken body in the Spirit.
There is one faith, one Lord, one Scripture.
Setting aside cult-like extremes and erroneous interpretations, we affirm the principle of unity within biblical diversity.

Why We Established This Church
We did not begin this online ministry to increase membership, raise our profile, or gain followers.
In fact, you do not even need to contact us.
No registration, application, or introduction is required to use this platform—nor is there any membership fee.
We created this platform so that anyone, at any stage of life, can have the means to continue a strong walk of faith and discover the truth.
To gather your family around the Word of Christ.
To turn your living room into a place of prayer.
And to remember that—even if you are alone—you are never truly alone.
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” — Matthew 6:6
The key point here is not whether the door is open or closed, but that God Himself gives His full attention to each person individually. Your prayers—whether from a remote location, in solitude, and without the mediation of any church official—are fully heard and answered by Him.

A Prayer for You – The Truth of the House Church
Right now—
Even if you are raising children alone in uncertainty,
Even if you live among family who do not share your faith,
Even if you have been wounded by religion—
This site was built for you: an online Ekklesia.
May you find here something that prompts you to open your Bible,
To face God alone or pray with loved ones,
And to see your own home as a sacred place of prayer.
If so, your house church has already fulfilled its mission.
You do not need to join our church—or any religious organization—for one reason:
You already belong to the household of believers loved by Jesus, the Ekklesia.

Our Mission
Our work aligns with the “simple church” pattern found in Acts 2:46 and Romans 16:5.
The Bible alone is our sole authority for faith and life.
We encourage gentle gatherings and the kind of home-based fellowship described in Scripture.
The goal of our global house church promotion is to broaden the understanding of “church” as not merely a physical building, but as an Ekklesia—a spiritual home where believers live richly in fellowship.
Our doctrinal foundation is our unique theological framework: Topology Theology, which serves as the central hub of our evangelistic work.

A Family Message from μ Church™
μ Church™ (pronounced “Myu Church”) is the outreach name of the Christian House Church Mission of Washington.
We chose this name to convey “a small, beloved church that can be found anywhere in the world.”
It is used in many of our outreach activities to strengthen connection with children, families, and those leading house churches.
All names, characters, and content related to μ Church™ are protected under U.S. common law trademark rights, with federal registration pending.
Commercial use without permission is prohibited; however, worship, educational, and non-profit house church activities in harmony with CHCMW’s mission and values are welcome.
If you contact us by email, we will gladly grant you a free license for such uses.
If your house church does not have a specific name, while you cannot register it as a trademark, you are welcome to call your gathering a “μ Church Fellowship” or “Myu Church”—a steadfast center of faith for you and your family.
Expanding the circle of μ Church™ is one of our key outreach goals.

What is μ (Myu)?
μ (Myu) is the 12th letter of the Greek alphabet, visually similar to the Latin letter M.
In science, physics, and mathematics, μ is the symbol for “micro,” denoting something very small.
One of its uses in physics refers to the “muon,” a subatomic particle.

What is a Muon?
A muon is a tiny particle from space, created when powerful energy from the stars collides with the Earth’s upper atmosphere.
It is invisible to the naked eye, yet incredibly powerful—able to pass through air, buildings, mountains, oceans, and even your body.
But there is no danger—it is gentle and harmless, like an unseen shimmer from the stars.
Scientists use muons to study the interiors of volcanoes and pyramids.
This field of cosmic science, called muography, uses the universe’s smallest particles to “photograph” the Earth as if with X-rays.

μ Church™ and Your House Church
Your house church may look small—but it is powerful, like the muon.
From the perspective of a large congregation or megachurch, your house church
may seem tiny and unnoticed.
But Jesus never overlooks even one person.
His message reaches everywhere—
To the far side of the world,
To a small island in the middle of the ocean,
To the heart of a bustling city.
The love of Jesus travels farther than any particle, reaching you—
and making your home shine with a light equal to any church building in the world.
Like the muon, your prayers also reach Jesus.
Even if no one else sees them—He does.
Even if you are just one, no matter how small, remember:
Jesus always watches over the Ekklesia where His beloved ones gather.
